The purple shading is hidden moisture that came from a HVAC unit in the attic that wasn't draining properly.  

Can you see the moisture above that light fixture?  STATELY found it with the Thermal Imaging Camera!

The bright yellow wire leaving the box in the upper left shows a faulty / loose wire connection to the circuit breaker.
