Scott C. Anding
Owner, Stately Property Inspections
Scott, born and raised in the Upper Midwest, moved to the Dallas, Texas area in 2010 and started STATELY Property Inspections, LLC.
Prior to moving to Dallas, Scott worked in Public Safety for over 20 years. In Minnesota, Scott was a volunteer firefighter for the City of Chanhassen, while he worked as an insurance adjuster for a nationally recognized insurance carrier handling auto and home owner claims. In 1997 Scott was hired as the Fire Marshal for a neighboring community and was responsible for conducting inspections that held property owners accountable to the building construction, State Fire Codes, and OHSA standards.
In 2006 Scott moved to Ohio where he was hired as Fire Chief of a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. After 3 years, Scott moved on to be the Executive Director of a Regional Council of Governments that catered to 22 municipal fire and EMS departments. It was there that Scott learned he had an entrepreneurial spirit and thrived on all the aspects of running a business.
In summer of 2010, Scott and his family relocated to Dallas, Texas where his wife was born and raised. Not wanting to get back into the Fire and Emergency Services, Scott connected with relatives who are Realtors and they suggested he become a Property Inspector.
Scott holds a State of Texas Professional Inspectors License, and has completed the Masters Certification Program from the American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT) and the Professional Home Inspectors Certification Program through Champions School of Real Estate, and holds a national certification as a Certified Pool Operator and Certified Pool Inspector. In addition, Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Fire Science with a minor in Management, and an Associate’s Degree in Risk Management & Claims Adjustment.
Scott and his wife Heather reside in Dallas, Texas with their two children and Gus, their puppy. When not working on his business, Scott is busy running from sporting event to sporting event with his family, and supporting the community in his various volunteering activities.
